Synthetic oil= rougher clutch, noisier top end. Grade or brand didn't matter. It also leaks out faster than regular oil due to higher dtergent level and lower coefficient of friction. Like I said, that is MY bike, can't say for sure on any others.
Racing gas= cooler operating temps. Cooler intake tract gives you a denser air charge, resulting in more power. The racing gas I use is alcohol based, not gasoline based. Run through occasionally, it is also a very good carb cleaner.
